fun beach toy for 26 year olds My grandchildren liked to take this toy to the playground and beach. When we lost a few parts I ordered a new set.
Love it! We brought it with us to the beach and it was a hit! All the little kids wanted to join my son in on the fun of making cupcakes. They had a blast! Very well made and I loved that it came with a bag to keep all the pieces together.
Awesome Sand Toys! I bought this for my 5 year old daughter and she has so much fun with it each time we go to the beach. It comes with a turquoise mesh bag with velcro attached so everything stays inside. Everyone always asks where we bought it.
Hours of Pretend Play! We were at the beach twice this summer. I brought along several beach toys and this was the go to toy everyday. My 3 year old played with this for hours each day serving everyone cupcakes. I love that is comes with it's own mesh bag to store the toys in. I was able to fill the bag and then hose the toys off.
Another great toy from Melissa & Doug! This is a great sand toy for kids. My grandchildren love playing for hours with this and I have been the recipient of many a creative sandcake.
Great buy very entertaining I purchased the cupcake set for my 2.5 yr old and it was worth every penny. She and her friends will play with this toy for hours on the beach. The plastic is very durable and I expect it to last many summers. I am going to buy this and the other Melissa & Doug sand toys for gifts since I am so pleased with it.
Cute product may frustrate little ones My son received this as a third birthday gift. He has played with it in our backyard sandbox. It is a cute product but a bit too advanced for him. I think that this would be most effective as a beach toy or perhaps with a water table somewhere where you have access to wet sand which sets the cupcakes in the molds better. Overall very cute but not good if you only have dry sandbox sand.
Awesome Set For The Cupcake Lover My daughter's very favorite sand play set is the Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Seaside Sidekicks Sand Cupcake Set probably because we are a cupcakeobsessed family! She pretends to make cupcakes and muffins with this even when we are indoors. The small character tops also double as fun indoor toys and satisfy my daughter's need for imaginative play. For instance the turtle topper is the baby turtle of the family with the mother and father turtles of the other two play sets we own from this line. Another idea for playtime fun is to have the child match the tops of the cupcakes to the bottoms by color. With Melissa & Doug toys the education possibilities are endless!I love that this set comes with a mesh bag to store all of the pieces in making clean up a breeze. Great Sand Toy I purchased this item for my cousin's 3yearold graddaughter. She LOVED it! It was taken on her family vacation to the Jersey Shore.All little children loved sand toys so they are always a safe bet as a summertime gift.
