skylighter The best invention ever! i found out about this frisbee last year at a camping festival and wanted one ever since nothing better than being able to throw one at night. The only thing would be that you cant see the person your throwing it to which isnt rhe frisbees fault at all! best frisbee ever.
Great outdoors toy everyone will love it. I brought this disc camping and once the sun went down I busted it out. All of my friends were amazed by it and we tossed it around for hours. The next day we got some glow sticks and played a really fun game of ultimate frisbee that night. The disc is very easy to throw for beginners and advanced throwers can really get some distance with it. The only bad thing is you don't get to choose your color when you buy it but I happened to get my favorite color blue. I would imagine that any of the colors would look great at night though.
Love it! Can't wait to give it to the kids! Just received 8 of these today and can't wait to give them to the grandkids! We played with a fancy lighted frisbee at the beach this summer and I started to buy 2 at the cost of $30 each as Christmas gifts for the family kids. I chose not to because of the cost. So glad I waited. These look like they'll be fun and withstand the throws but I won't know until after we play with them.
Excellent for summer nights! Would never have bought this on my own expecting it to be a cheap gimmick. Another father brought one to scout summer camp and it immediately became THE afterdark activity in the campsite. We ordered one as soon as we got home. Easy on the hands to catch nice bright light handles water submersion without any problem. This one stays on the counter yearround for use.
Attention Grabber and A Great Exercise These discs look awesome at night even though it's just a small light that only looks nice when in flight.I wish they flew further. 4060 feet is the max I can throw these under control.I highly recommend the lighted disc as well as the orange Aerobie 13 inch disc to use during the day.Shipping took 2 business days with Amazon prime.Quality is surprisingly durable.
I love playing frisbee and this disc flies great! I can't say enough about the light feature its especially useful during the winter months when I want to do something outside in the early evening hours when its already dark. No problemflip a little switch to turn on its built in lighting and you're all set. This thing really sails compared to my old traditional style frisbee. I would also have to say it is a bit softer on the hands with its rubberized rim as compared to a hard plastic disc. As far as durablity goesit is still a truckin' after countless games of flog the frisbee where a buddy of mine would stand approx. 20 yards away from methrow his disc towards me I would then in turn try to take his disc down while in mid air with a disc of my own again try this at night it's that much more fun. Each disc would take a beating but continue to fly straight and the lights still work too.
Won't light up!! It is quite promising but it ran a fatal flaw upon delivery. Man I was excited about it too but alas it wouldn't turn on. The plastic housing where the LEDs and the batteries are stored wouldn't screw down tight enough to complete the circuit for the light. It would flux on and off with some slight bending but otherwise won't stay lit in the 'on' position.
Rough on the hands and is heavy I bought this to extend my hours of playing ultimate frisbee into the night. It does everything it claims on the package and really does have unsurpassed visibility in the dark. However we play frisbee with quick linedrive throws at high speeds and this frisbee kills your hands if you catch a fast pass. I ended up taking a utility knife to the led and used doublesided adhesive tape to glue it to my spare white ultimate frisbee. It added a little extra weight to my frisbee but it was still a hell of a lot easier to catch than the skylighter but half as bright which is still really bright. I wouldn't say it was a waste of money but I basically bought a $15 led for another frisbee lol.
wow loved it a frisbee with a light fun at night fun all the time!! Grandson really liked it we all did.
