Love this unique sprinkler! I bought this for my daughter when she was 13 months old. I thought it would be perfect for playing in the yard on a hot summer day. She just loves the flowers! The only downfall is that the holes that the water comes out of are quite big so a lot of water ends up being used and therefore some what floods the yard. We found a solution though we just put the sprinkler in a blow up pool.
Don't be fooled by Melissa and Doug's supposed nontoxic lies Melissa and Doug tries to claim that their products are incredibly safe and have nontoxic coatings. Maybe the coating is nontoxic but that doesn't help if the product is made from a toxic material like PVC which this is. When I contacted Melissa and Doug I was told not to worry because it was pthalate free. Well something else has to be added to PVC as a stabiliser if it is pthalate free often organotins which are also toxic. In addition PVC's life cycle uses and releases highly hazardous chemicals including dioxins and furans vinyl chloride ethylene dichloride mercury and other chemicals. All of which wreak havoc on the environment are are certainly toxins I don't want around my children.I will no longer be buying products from Melissa and Doug. I will not support a company who sells themselves as greener but is not. It also makes me question what other nasty stuff they have in their other toys.
Fun sprinkler User Daughter age 56Sprinkler works great very cute for a little girl. We have had many fun days in the yard with this item. The only bad thing I can think of is when putting away take extra time to drain it as water stays inside the base. We have used this for 2 summers and the colors have stayed fairly bright.
Did not meet my expectations I was very excited to get this in the mail today based on the reviews of it being a very fun sprinkler. This sprinkler does not live up to the fun reviews but the other comments on here seem to be right on. The flowers are soft so if your kids touch them they will not get hurt. However the base of this sprinkler comes up off the ground quite a bit making it more of a tripping hazard then my flat yard sprinkler that I got for $4 at Lowes plus that one has 5 adjustable settings. I thought based on the previous fun reviews that the flowers would move shooting water in varied directions while the water was on. This is not the case and the flowers remain stationary. Thus this is a pretty regular sprinkler. Plus one other review said that this sprinkler disperses water more evenly than their lawn sprinkler. This was NOT the case for me as the flowers shoot the water out in solid streams leaving for me anyway 13 small water pools in the grass.
Great Sprinkler!!! My 2 year old daughter loves this sprinkler. She has a great time running through the water that comes out of the flowers in every direction. I like that it is a soft so that if she falls she is not going to fall on metal. It also sprays very high with not a lot of water pressure.
A little disappointing Looks cute seems well built good that the flowers are soft plastic so if the kids trip or kick it it will not hurt much but the spray height even on high water pressure was a bit disappointing and the fact that the flowers done moves around and wobble or rotate gets a bit boring.
Made in China for 50 cents brought to you for $20 This toy is fun to look at but feels cheap right off the shelf and proves cheap with repeated use. Also much too expensive for anything made in China where you're money is guaranteed to not make it to the people who actually made the toy. And with lead in the paint most likely. Wouldn't buy another toy like this again.

Fantastic Sprinkler This sprinkler had great reviews so I bought it for my class of 18 children. When I got it It was small didn't know if it was going to work for it's purpose of a party. Fortunately we tried it out and it was amazing. The water pressure is high and the water goes up really high depending on how much water pressure we put on. All the kids were able to use it at the same time. The water spurts out everywhere. At the end of the day we were able to turn the water down and use it with little water coming out. It still worked great. Would buy this sprinkler over again.
We love our new sprinkler! I bought this product with some trepidation based on the other reviews. When it arrived I was surprised at how small it was but once I hooked it up and turned on the hose I was extremely pleased. The design of the water as it sprays in the air is pretty and it sprays pretty high and wide. I was impressed. My son loved running through it with his friends plus it helped water my lawn. The product itself is cute and seems pretty durable.
